I have PD of Nov 2006, 140-Approved, 485-July 2nd. I have not got any LUD on any of my applications. So, this soft LUD might not be for everybody.

Hi. I realized that I made a mistake when filling out the I 485 Part Three:
I posted this at the wrong spot initially. Sorry.
I made a mistake on the I485 form Part Three Processing Information. Specifically, I filled in the I-94 number issued for my H1B as the "Nonimmigration Visa Number", instead of the visa number I got when I was still in F1 Student status.
I called USCIS twice and they informed me that I can make corrections after I get the receipt--I can send in a corrected form, along with a letter explaining the correction, and also a copy of the receipt.
I was wondering whether anyone here had done that before.
I am kicking myself for misunderstanding the form! Please help!

The I-94 is the form you filled out on the plane and had stamped at the port of entry. It should be attached to your passport on the visa page. It will be on the front of the I-94.

My company is Acquired too, the New Employer just gave me a Letter Copy
explaining the Merger, do Official docs were shared with me.
From whom did u get this letter.

If they are paying u for the 5 month gap, its not termination you are still on their pay rolls so u will have no problem coz u are gettin pay check for the 5 months. No need for LOA too if you have pay stubs

As I came to know L1 is denied due to skill set I have is not enough, which I do not agree and I can appeal for the same.
Will you advise me to reopen the case? And if I am reopening the case am I eligible to stay here in US till the case is finalized even if my I-94 expires?
Can I also file for H1 at the same time?

CIS could have asked for a copy of your previous Advance Parole, for example, in the I-131 RFE. Hopefully you have received the RFE by now so you know what it asks for. You should also have got the I-140 notice. If not, you should call CIS to see where they sent it in case it went to the wrong address.

Hi,
I have filed I-485 application myself for me & my wife on July 5th, 2007.
I have listed all the documents in the packet on the cover letter, but forgot to sign the at the bottom (both me & my wife) after 'Sincerely'.It has blank in place of my signature and name printed in the brackets.Will it be a problem?
What should I do now to correct this? Should I send the signed cover letter separately (explaining that I forgot to sign)? Your suggestion is highly appreciated.

You will just need the AP for yourself but make sure you return before the expiry date of the AP and not the I-94 any issued or stamp in the PP. For the baby you can use 1 of the 3 options available - Visa/PIO/OCI. Hope this is helpful.

Who said anything about a 10 year old boy? Correct me if im wrong but this is a public forum and I can ask whatever question I want to ask. Its up to you if you want to answer it. The problem is not with current pay vs future pay. The company has other project managers (US Citizens) and will only pay what others get as PMs. The classification gave a pay that is almost 50% more than what other PMs make.
So the company will not commit/be willing to pay that high wage. Why should they? I know my company pays more than average of what PMs get in the industry. BTW it is not a consulting company and I work directly for the company, not clients.
I think the problem is that any kind of manager in computer/IT industry is classified under Computer information systems manager. While there can be hundreds of classifications that are not CIS managers.
To put things in perspective, the classification is for my boss's boss. But the job done by me and my boss and his boss are totally different.
So my question remains. How do we get classification as Project manager under EB2 with proper wages?
